The LEARN study sought to understand the experiences of people with Parkinson’s disease who had taken part in trials involving neurosurgery so that the design of new trials can be made as acceptable as posible to participants. Here we present some of the main findings of this research.

The ‘Listening to the experience of participants in neurosurgical trials’ (LEARN) set out to capture the experience of people with PD who have taken part in a complex trial of a new cell therapy for PD.
