Get Involved
The resources on our website are made possible thanks to the generous contributions of volunteer clinicians, researchers, patient advocates and postgraduate students. They help write, review, and translate our resources into seven languages, making our content more accessible to people across Europe.
EuroGCT would like to thank our volunteers for giving up their time to support the development of our resources. Individual acknowledgements can be found across our factsheets, resources and translations.
Translation Reviewers
Are you a scientist or expert fluent in English and an additional language?
EuroGCT's public-facing material is available in seven languages: English, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, and Polish. We also translate key resources into additional languages. We rely on the support of scientists who are fluent in these languages to make sure that scientific and medical terms are translated correctly.
If you join our network, you'll receive occasional requests to review text which has been machine-translated from English for accuracy and readability. You are not obliged to take on any work that doesn't suit you, and a deadline will be agreed to suit your schedule. Any long-form content you translate will be credited to you, and there's no minimum workload; even just one completed translation helps us reach more people in their first language.

The EuroGCT Network of Expertise is a network of individuals who can contribute their expertise to the provision of reliable and accessible information about gene and cell therapy.
NoE members may be asked to:
- Contribute to working groups
- Review text before it goes on the website
- Write material on a specific topic
- Comment on research or media developments
- Suggest topics to be covered
- Introduce other relevant experts

EuroGCT is a living resource which is constantly being updated and expanded. Your feedback helps us decide what to cover, and helps us evaluate whether we're doing a good job.
Collaborators
Are you developing a project that would benefit from thoughtful science communication, engagement or resource creation?
We want to connect with people and groups who are interested in working together on new projects. We value collaborative, values-led partnerships and shared learning, and would welcome early involvement in shaping projects that respond to both communities and funders.
We can contribute to projects through:
- support with developing patient- and public-facing resources
- providing a bespoke online space to host and share project outputs
- advice on, and delivery of, science communication and public engagement strategies
- training in presentation skills, science communication, and engagement
